The Territory Sales Executive is a dynamic, persuasive, and solution-oriented sales professional responsible for promoting Stuppy Greenhouse Solutions & Services to targeted clients across the Northwest region and specific national markets. This role encompasses the complete sales cycle for both current and prospective clients, ensuring exceptional after-sale support and customer service, while collaborating with internal teams to facilitate seamless delivery and installation.
Key Responsibilities- Achieve or surpass designated sales targets and quarterly revenue goals by engaging potential and existing clients through various channels including phone, email, and face-to-face interactions (cold/warm outreach, trade exhibitions, etc.) in commercial and educational sectors.
- Utilize business insight and consultative techniques to identify client challenges and position Stuppy as the ideal solution provider, leveraging innovative greenhouse technologies.
- Proactively seek new business opportunities through thorough research and client engagement.
- Effectively communicate the Stuppy Greenhouse value proposition to prospective and existing clients.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships by consistently demonstrating Stuppy's value and ensuring high client satisfaction levels.
- Prepare quotes, proposals, and specifications to accurately reflect customer requirements.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients.
- Assess the potential value of sales opportunities and meet gross sales and margin objectives.
- Maintain accurate sales data and opportunity status within the CRM system on a weekly basis.
- Collaborate with internal departments to prepare proposals and transition new orders into operational processes.
- Support project managers and customer service teams to guarantee timely delivery and installation of products and services.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- 5-7 years of experience in business development with a focus on greenhouse sales, horticulture, or technical sales.
- Proven track record of managing a multi-million-dollar sales pipeline with average deal sizes ranging from $50k to $1,000,000.
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- In-depth understanding of the sales process and methodologies, maintaining integrity in all Stuppy operations.
- Ability to apply value-based selling techniques to effectively manage sales processes and forecast business accurately.
- Familiarity with the territory, including market share evaluation and sales opportunities.
- Intermediate math skills and the ability to interpret technical documents and specifications.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport quickly with clients.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Exceptional skills in communication, presentation, negotiation, organization, teamwork, and adherence to a structured sales process.
- Demonstrated integrity, work ethic, and a commitment to building trust-based relationships.
