About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Control management officer to support Consumer Lending & Enterprise Marketing. Job duties include functional control support for high complex and risk processes, including relationship management strategy risk and transaction fulfillment processes associated with Consumer Lending Products.

In this role, you will:

Lead complex initiatives designed to mitigate current and emerging risks with broad impactAct as key participant in monitoring, evaluating, and measuring the impact of decisions practiced in Control Management functional areaMonitor moderately complex business specific programs, and provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk-mitigation strategiesMonitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group or functional areaDevelop and implement risk monitoring and risk reporting processes and controlsCollaborate with relevant business group to identify current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations, and provide guidance in developing and implementing risk-mitigating strategiesLead Control Management project or virtual teamsRequired Qualifications:5+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.Desired Qualifications:Consumer Lending Product Experience.Comprehend, manage and understand all facets of disclosure creation, content, presentment and execution across multiple areas and life cycles of Consumer Lending Products, as well as other lines of business.Experience in Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA).Job Expectations:Lead Business Control Management for >1 Risk Assessable Businesses and/or be secondary lead on moderate/high complex processes with high inherent risk. Lead includes ongoing risk and control assessment of processes and business profile changes, working directly and in partnership with the business owner and Independent Risk Management / Second Line of Defense partners (operational risk and compliance).Conduct analysis of risk type themes, interconnectivity of other business processes, to either identify process efficiency to reduce risk, automation of control design, identify potential new/modified control design related to business process changes which increase risk.Proactively manage changes to controls, working with the line of business to ensure that all controls are designed and performing, as expected, within Internal Control Policy Standards.Posting End Date:
