Manufacturing and PE backed organization looking to add a Corporate Controller.

The VP, Corporate Controller will ensure the timely and accurate recording of accounting transactions and business activity, overseeing financial consolidations of entities along with financial and management reporting requirements. The VP, Corporate Controller will maintaining documented controls and procedures and work closely with leadership, PE firm and external auditors.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee Global Corporate Accounting, leading the accounting, controls and financial reporting of businesses
  • Coordinate the periodic consolidation al financial close efforts and ensure proper elimination of intercompany activities.
  • Oversee transactional accounting processes (AP, AR, PR, GL) and inventory while supporting Treasury Management
  • Ensure the development and successful implementation of accounting and control policies and procedures, as well as documentation, maintenance, and appropriate allocation of resources
  • Maintaining daily and weekly cashflow (approvals of wires and outgoing payments) as well as projections
  • Coordinate the month-end closing process
  • Ensure timely and accurate closing of monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Oversee accurate and efficient delivery of income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements by the overall team and handle audited financial statement prep/footnotes and EBITDA management.
  • Lead the preparation of monthly reporting packages to the Operations Council/Board.
  • Manage and lead the external audit process, working closely with external audit partners.
  • Ensure technical accounting compliance across the organization and adoption of all required accounting standards and updates.
  • Lead the development, management and improvement of operational and financial controls and procedures
  • Manage existing ERPs and lead the integration effort of new and/or integrated applications to improve business efficiencies and Control environment

Qualifications:
  • 15 years or more of experience in accounting and controllership, ideally within al business within retail, manufacturing or ecommercechannel environments and/or backed by private equity
  • Previous experience working in public accounting (Big-4) is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field related, with a preference towards a master's degree
  • CPA required
