Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop precise revenue forecasts by examining historical data and market trends.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of Medicare Advantage (MA) revenue.
  • Engage with MA Plans to resolve discrepancies or missing information.
  • Conduct monthly analyses of revenue variances.
  • Analyze and allocate Capitation revenue received in cash.
  • Review and allocate Fee-for-Service revenue received in cash.
  • Evaluate monthly and quarterly Sales & Telemarketing enrollment commissions for compliance; prepare necessary calculations.
  • Assist in the creation and enhancement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the Accounting & Finance department.

Qualifications:

  • Strong foundation in accounting, with a focus on accrual accounting and substantial finance experience (forecasting, variance analysis).
  • Experience in the healthcare sector, particularly with Medicaid (knowledge of CMS rates and risk scores is advantageous).
  • A minimum of three years of relevant accounting experience.
