Role Summary
We are currently seeking a motivated Service Engineer to join our team. The selected candidate will deliver onsite troubleshooting, repair, programming, and maintenance services for FANUC robots and associated peripheral systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and maintenance for FANUC robots and controllers, as well as electrical control devices and peripheral equipment.
- Engage in discussions to diagnose, document, and resolve operational and process issues as reported by clients or internal support channels.
- Submit daily updates to the Service Supervisor regarding status and availability.
- Complete and deliver a detailed Field Service report for each assignment to both the client and FANUC Headquarters.
- Exhibit a willingness to travel to customer locations, typically averaging 3-4 nights per week.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- An Associate degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent technical training is preferred.
- A minimum of three years of experience in robotics, automation, or a manufacturing setting is essential.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Experience in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting is required.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics and related technical documentation is necessary.
- Familiarity with FANUC robots, controllers, and peripheral equipment is advantageous.
- Experience with FANUC application software and programming is preferred.
