The Siemens EDA Global Sales team isseeking a motivated sales team member to grow our pipeline of new business withthe US Government. This is a unique role focused heavily on prospecting andlead generation coupled with the opportunity to partner directly with senioraccount managers and directors within the territory. Our account managers areadept at building and expanding existing business with current customers andhave a passion for creating new business opportunities; they maximize businessrelationships through collaboration, capitalizing on the global network torealize corporate objectives. Responsibilities include, but are not limited tothe following:

  • Prospectand identify new business opportunities
  • Attendconferences and industry events to identify new customers
  • Generatenew business opportunities through tracking venture funding
  • Deliveron quarterly and annual numbers while maintaining focus on competition,customer, and technology landscapes to form a strategic near- and long-termoutlook
  • Identifyand build strong relationships with customers and uncover customer desiredobjectives or needs
  • Supportsenior account managers and directors in developing the vision, direction, andstrategy for delivering customer solutions and increasing revenue
  • Supportsenior account managers and directors on negotiation plans, working closelywith sales management, finance, legal, and the customer
  • Coordinateeffective collaboration with field technical teams and customers to drivetechnology adoption and proliferation

Position Qualifications

  • Youhave an interest or desire in the EDA or IC design space, including experiencein customer-facing roles.
  • Youhave a broad understanding of EDA solutions and can demonstrate in an interviewyour understanding of EDA solutions.
  • Youpossess strong oral and written communication and presentation skills, and candemonstrate confidence in front of a customer.
  • Youare adaptable and resilient in the face of challenges and have experiencehandling competing priorities with an ability to address and solve problems ina timely manner.
  • Youare motivated by the opportunity to prospect for new sales opportunities and movethose opportunities from identification to business closure.
  • You have a technical mindset withthe ability to learn complex applications and flows.
  • You have proven ability to opendoors and build relationships at all levels in an organization.
  • You are self-motivated andresults-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor'sdegree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent combinationof education and experience.

The totalcash compensation range for this position is $135,700 to $271,400 with 40% of thisbeing comprised of an annual incentive target. The actual compensation offeredis based on the successful candidate's work location as well as additionalfactors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevanteducation/training.
