The Business Development Manager for Managed Transportation will focus on supporting inside sales and branches with qualifying and closing MT leads. This position will be working on a consistent basis with Sales, Solutions, Implementation, Sourcing and various levels of management within the customer. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Client discovery calls, face to face visits, strategy recommendation, client contract process.

Functions:


• Manage and report on pipeline of sales opportunities


• Work with a team of Sales Reps who are bringing 150+ leads to build off of


• Collaborate with solutions and sourcing to customize a solution for potential clients


• Meet with clients to explain value prop and discuss customized solution


• Meet with sales teams to review opportunities


• Manage the follow-up and feedback loop for all opportunities


• Develop meeting cadence with sales to develop more opportunities
