Labcorp is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join their team in San Diego, CA. The Purchasing Coordinator will be responsible for performing various inventory and purchasing related tasks in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment according to established standard operating procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create, process, and monitor purchase orders.
  • Manage inventory levels, MIN/MAX volumes and place re-stock orders in timely manners
  • Researches and resolves problems associated with purchase order processing.
  • May analyze pre-negotiated contracts.
  • Conducts weekly meetings to bridge internal team cooperation.
  • Interfaces with outside vendors to maintain company relations.
  • Coordinates with accounts payable for timely invoice processing
  • Administers assistance and guidance in PO's and invoicing across multiple departments.
  • May Forecast quarterly/annual spending with guidance from Supervisor/Manager.
  • Assist in inventory stocking when needed.
  • Assist in administrative duties when needed.
  • Participate and lead special projects when needed.
  • Maintain proper documentation practices.
  • Lead or participate in inventory counts and audits.
Education/Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred 1-3 years' experience with inventory management
  • Ability to perform moderate to complex level word processing and spreadsheet tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with significant presentation experience.

Pay: $24-$28 per hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm.
