Key Responsibilities:- Act as a customer advocate – represent the voice of the customer and apply critical thinking when collaborating with other stakeholders to ensure timely resolutions.
- Deliver outstanding quality interactions with customers through email and phone communications, employing problem-solving skills to effectively address customer inquiries and resolve unique or complex issues.
- Engage in proactive outreach to manage non-technical inquiries related to delivery information of current and past shipments, order statuses, and invoices.
- Undertake additional projects or responsibilities as required.
- At least one year of relevant Customer Service experience.
- Strong computer proficiency, including familiarity with MS Office applications.
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A passion for driving change and pursuing innovation.
- Strong attention to detail – accuracy is critical.
- A desire to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
- Proven ability to de-escalate customer issues with empathy and understanding.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
- Experience processing a high volume of data or orders daily.
- Knowledge of EDI order processing.
- Proficiency with 10-key data entry.
Compensation: The base salary range for this full-time position is $20-$23/hour. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this role. The actual pay offered to the successful candidate will consider internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Work Environment & Physical Demands: This position primarily operates in an office environment, with occasional exposure to laboratory and warehouse settings. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, talk, and hear.
