We're looking for a Production Designer to work with a large CPG client. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of designing for print and digital, and adhering to file building standards. Moderately complex design files to vendor specs. Esko fluency is required. Please include your portfolio link. A portfolio is required for consideration.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Design tactical mockups and presentation to help support and sell-in business-first ideasAssist in developing brand/campaign design systems and style guidesInspect and assess working files to assure the correct assets (logos, fonts, colors, images) are available and utilizedAdhere to all agency, vendor and client guidelines and processes for file building and archivingKeep project files organized and available to creative team membersHandle a workload of multiple projects, including daily administrative tasks like email and time entryComplete assigned work with efficiency and creative excellence, on deadlineCollaborate with Art Directors and Production Artists to manage the creative process throughout all stages of executionContinue to grow your craft and skillsRemain current on design trends, best practices, media platforms and competitorsAll other duties as assigned by Creative leadership.SKILL SETS REQUIRED:Bachelor's degree in graphic arts, Marketing, Communications or related fieldExperience working in Esko Studio (die line to 3d render, plus pack outs) is a definite bonusA well-rounded portfolio of client work, demonstrating a strong understanding of client objectives and strategiesCulturally and creatively curiousPassion for problem-solving, commerce, marketing and businessEagerness to learn, and failEgo-less collaboratorConfident in the face of feedback and/or criticismHighly organized and self-motivatedEnergetic and outgoingKnowledgeable of print and digital technology and terminologyFluent in Adobe Creative Suite, GSuite and PowerPointStrong design and layout skillsStrong understanding of hierarchy, typography, composition, color, photography and illustrationStrong understanding of designing for print and digital Strong creative problem-solving skillsStrong written and communication skillsStrong collaboration skillsStrong time management and prioritization skillsMars United Commerce is an Equal Opportunity Employer and will recruit, hire, train and promote persons in all job classifications without regard to race, ancestry, creed, color, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, disability or handicap, HIV, veteran, marital or family status, or any other status or condition protected by applicable state and/or federal laws, except where a bonafide occupational qualification applies.
