Duties
  • You will perform as a Senior Technical Support for Electronic Warfare (EW), Information Operations (IO) and cryptologic systems training for the East Coast Tactical Training Range (ECTTR).
  • You will serve as the range EW/IO Operations Director during Carrier Strike Group (CSG), Carrier Air Wing (CVW), and Fleet Replacement Squadron (FRS) range events and exercises.
  • You will ensure all East Coast Tactical Training Range (ECTTR) electronic warfare range data required for debrief is prepared and available after completion of training event.
  • You will develop and support NSWC Corona EW and IO engineering projects with the Engineering Branch, RS28.
  • You will perform as Director of the East Coast Commercial Air Services (CAS) Adversary Threat Replication Pod Facility.
  • You will mentor junior employees for contribution to the operations team.
  • You will prepare cost analyses and estimates associated with projects for use by the branch, division, or sponsor, including for DoD Fiscal Year Budget Planning.
  • You will defend decisions and actions that may be controversial, in all areas of responsibility, to senior level leaders and external customers/sponsors.

    • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

      Qualifications

      Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NT-04 pay band (GS 11-12 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing or evaluating business operations (e.g., project requirement, monitoring, compliance, and controlling cost, quality, and schedule) to support the integration of programs and processes involved with the East Coast Tactical Training Range (ECTTR) activities.

      This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14.

      This is not a high-grade position: therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10.
