Position Summary:
We are seeking a Project Engineering Manager to oversee large-scale capital projects. This role requires you to deliver engineering expertise to our facilities and support them in capital project initiatives, including design reviews and adherence to project-specific specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead by example in promoting safety, compliance, and the Responsible Care initiative.
- Demonstrate a commitment to safety and compliance as fundamental aspects of your role.
- Ensure the maintenance of corporate engineering standards.
- Facilitate teamwork and collaboration across projects.
- Utilize your technical problem-solving skills effectively.
- Exhibit strong organizational and self-management capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering is preferred.
- Extensive experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly within the chemical sector.
- Proven track record in managing capital projects, especially those exceeding $1 million.
- Familiarity with engineering codes and standards is essential.
- Excellent communication and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office is required; experience with SAP is a plus.
- Willingness to travel domestically, approximately 10-25% of the time.
