In the role of Senior Project Manager, you will lead project teams in developing land use plans for various sectors, including commercial, institutional, and energy. Your responsibilities will encompass managing projects, ensuring quality control, interfacing with clients, budgeting, and mentoring junior engineers. You will oversee the design elements, including site layouts, grading plans, stormwater management systems, and utility designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project teams to deliver comprehensive land development plans.
- Conduct quality reviews of engineering deliverables.
- Engage with clients, contractors, and local officials throughout all project phases.
- Mentor and supervise junior engineering staff.
- Prepare project proposals and oversee execution.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- 12+ years of experience in the Land Development Sector.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- A Professional Engineering License (P.E.) in South Carolina.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in staff development and mentorship.
- Proven ability to conduct technical reviews of civil engineering projects.
- Established connections within the land development community.
- Business development skills and client engagement experience.
