About the Job Role:

The Client Manager role at S&P Global Market Intelligence is key to building meaningful relationships with clients in the energy industry. You will be responsible for understanding client needs, maximizing product value, and acting as the main point of contact for commercial relationships.

  • Partner with clients to understand their objectives
  • Schedule regular meetings to discuss product updates and enhancements
  • Communicate client feedback and opportunities internally
  • Collaborate with sales to schedule client demos
  • Act as an escalation point for Support and Project work
  • Ensure contract renewals by maintaining knowledge of pricing and terms

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Prior experience in software sales in the energy industry
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with upstream oil and gas data

Personal Skills:

  • Ability to conduct business analysis and understand client requirements
  • Proactive and independent worker
  • Effective communication skills
  • Strong team player with a 'can do' attitude

Additional Information:

This role offers a base salary range of $75,395 to $132,234, dependent on experience and location. In addition, there is a KPI-based annual incentive plan. The position is limited to individuals with the right to work in the United States.
