City Wide Facility Solutions is seeking a dedicated Facility Solutions Manager (FSM) for our Houston West branch. The ideal candidate will benefit from an uncapped commission structure along with eligibility for a bonus plan.

The Facility Solutions Manager will oversee the operational activities of a designated service area in Northwest Houston, Cypress, and nearby regions. This position involves outside B2B account management, providing field support that includes training, onboarding new clients, inspecting contractor performance, ensuring compliance with client specifications, addressing customer inquiries and complaints, coordinating site visits, and fostering long-term relationships with clients and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all facets of assigned client relationships, focusing on retention, growth, and diversification of City Wide's facility solutions and products.
  • Develop and implement a tailored service strategy and schedule for each client.
  • Negotiate contracts with clients for additional services, determining pricing, staffing, and logistics.
  • Manage contractor relationships, including recruitment, pricing negotiations, agreement management, service specification development, compliance verification, and contractor replacement as needed.
  • Ensure high standards of quality and client satisfaction through thorough quality control inspections and consistent follow-through on commitments.
  • Supervise Night Managers to ensure client strategies are executed effectively and services are delivered correctly.
  • Promote, procure, and monitor supplies for clients.
  • Communicate client issues effectively with contractors and the operations team, addressing any problems promptly.
  • Utilize City Wide's CRM to document client inspections and relevant details.
  • Schedule non-routine activities at client facilities using Outlook.
  • Maintain up-to-date Building Information Sheets (BIS), contract documents, and client contact details, ensuring accuracy in safety data sheets for janitorial supplies.
  • Inform Sales Executives of potential accounts in your territory, particularly new construction opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Operations and Night Managers to develop and implement plans to resolve client complaints or service deficiencies.
  • Approve Service Representative pay sheets, ensuring accuracy.
  • Assist the Accounting department in collecting overdue invoices from clients and payments for contractors.
  • Keep updated route sheets, key/alarm sheets, and monthly planners for each client.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in outside B2B account management, preferably in building maintenance or facility management.
  • Proven track record of success in a client retention role, supported by measurable goals and metrics.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through on commitments.
  • Positive, outgoing personality with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with CRM databases.
  • Willingness to travel daily to client locations.
