Python/AWS Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer with 5 to 7 years of experience to join our diverse team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python and AWS and experience in the Payer domain is a plus. This role involves developing maintaining and optimizing software solutions that drive our business forward and positively impact society.

Location: Sacramento -California – Onsite

Responsibilities:

Develop high-quality software solutions using Python to meet business requirements and improve user experience.

  • Design implement and manage scalable and secure cloud-based applications on AWS.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and alignment to best practices.
  • Fix and debug applications to optimize performance and resolve issues.
  • Implement automated testing frameworks to ensure the reliability and stability of software solutions.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve software development practices.
  • Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning daily stand-ups and retrospectives.
  • Ensure software solutions align with security standards and regulations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
  • Engage with collaborators to capture requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Qualifications
  • Possess strong proficiency in Python programming language with a consistent record of developing robust applications.
  • Demonstrate expertise in AWS services including EC2 S3 Lambda and RDS.
  • Exhibit experience in designing and implementing scalable cloud-based solutions.
  • Show familiarity with automated testing frameworks and tools.
  • Have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to solve sophisticated issues.
  • Display strong interpersonal skills to optimally collaborate with multi-functional teams.
  • Experience in the Payer domain is a plus providing valuable insights into industry-specific requirements.
  • Hold a bachelors' degree in Computer Science Engineering.

The annual salary for this position is between $91,000 to $106,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
