Position Overview

  • Design and develop robust web applications tailored for our clientele.
  • Architect and implement sophisticated solutions to accommodate a rapidly expanding user demographic.
  • Assume full responsibility for the comprehensive engineering stack necessary to deliver features and outcomes to users.
  • Collaborate with a close-knit engineering team in an Agile framework.
  • Establish sound engineering practices while mentoring fellow team members.
  • Lead and manage a team of offshore engineers (3-8 members).

Essential Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience in developing large-scale web applications is essential.
  • Proficiency in .NET, C#, Entity Framework, and SQL Server, with at least four (4) years of experience.
  • Experience with SQL Server, including schema design and crafting complex, optimized queries, procedures, and performance tuning.
  • Proven experience in developing and utilizing RESTful web services.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is required.
  • Experience collaborating with remote teams is necessary.
  • Knowledge of cloud storage solutions such as AWS or Azure is preferred.
  • Experience with CI tools like TeamCity or Jenkins is a plus.
  • Proficient in version control systems, particularly Git and repositories like GitHub.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns, with senior-level expertise in front-end, middle-tier, and back-end development.
  • In-depth knowledge of design patterns, multi-threaded programming, LINQ, .NET, MVC, and experience with IoC containers.
  • Experience in implementing secure web-based solutions using .NET MVC, Azure services, and Azure SQL PaaS.
  • Thorough understanding of application security, HIPAA compliance, and secure software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • A disciplined approach to testing and quality assurance.
  • A natural curiosity and a strong passion for research and problem-solving.
  • Ability to thrive in a passionate, self-motivated team environment focused on delivering high-quality products and solutions.
