Python Developer
Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain system performance using Dynatrace to ensure optimal functionality.
Implement Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices to enhance system reliability and scalability.
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python to streamline operations and reduce manual efforts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve system issues promptly.
Conduct root cause analysis for system failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Provide technical support and guidance to team members on best practices and troubleshooting techniques.
Optimize system performance by analyzing metrics and implementing necessary improvements.
Ensure system security and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations processes and procedures.
Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical system issues.
Utilize AWS services to enhance system performance and scalability if applicable.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of system monitoring and alerting processes.
Engage in knowledge sharing and training sessions to keep the team updated on new technologies and best practices.
-Qualifications
Possess strong experience in using Dynatrace for system monitoring and performance optimization.
Demonstrate expertise in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices and principles.
Have proficiency in Python for developing automation scripts and tools.
Experience with AWS services is a plus enhancing system performance and scalability.
Domain knowledge in Payer is beneficial providing insights into industry-specific requirements.
Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to perform root cause analysis.
Show strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Maintain a proactive approach to system maintenance and optimization.

Nice to have skills: AWS

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $55,578 to $92,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
