Your Role

We are in search of a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist responsible for overseeing, monitoring, and optimizing cloud systems to guarantee peak performance, security, and uptime. This position requires collaboration with diverse teams including development, IT, and Sales Operations to implement and oversee cloud solutions aligned with our organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect, deploy, and manage scalable cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Continuously monitor and enhance cloud resources to maintain high availability and performance.
  • Utilize infrastructure as code (IaC) methodologies with tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Conduct routine system monitoring, ensuring the integrity and availability of resources while reviewing system and application logs.
  • Automate repetitive tasks using scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Establish and uphold security protocols, including firewalls and VPNs.
  • Perform regular security evaluations and vulnerability assessments.
  • Work closely with development teams to facilitate CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment workflows.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Set up and manage monitoring and alerting systems to swiftly respond to incidents.
  • Conduct root cause analyses for incidents and implement preventative strategies.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of cloud architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Produce regular reports on system performance, security, and cost efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in cloud operations, DevOps, system administration, or a similar role.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with distributed databases like Cassandra.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Proficient scripting skills in languages such as Python, JavaScript, and Bash.
  • Understanding of security best practices and experience in implementing security measures in cloud settings.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
