Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient software solutions across the organization.
- Collaborate with product managers, team members, and customers to solve complex problems and build enterprise-class business applications.
- Ensure the quality, usability, and performance of software solutions, and participate in design sessions and code reviews to elevate the quality of engineering across the organization.
- Utilize programming languages like NodeJS, Python, and other object-oriented languages, SQL, and NoSQL databases, Serverless technologies like Lambda, and a variety of AWS tools and services.
- 6+ years of professional software development experience.
- 3+ years of experience with architecture and design.
- 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service.
- Preferred experience inside a heavily regulated environment.
- Fluency and specialization with at least two modern languages such as Java, NodeJS, Python, Typescript or C# including object-oriented design.
- Experience with a modern UI framework such as React or Vue.
- Experience in building products using micro-service oriented architecture and extensible REST APIs.
- Experience in serverless environments.
- Experience building the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and current systems.
- Experience with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code.
- Fluency in DevOps Concepts, Cloud Architecture, and AWS DevOps Operational Framework.
- Experience in leveraging Bash scripting.
- Experience with application monitoring tools and performance assessments.
- Experience in security protocols and products: Understanding of ASAML, OAuth, etc.
- Knowledge of developer tooling across the software development life cycle (task management, source code, building, deployment, operations, real-time communication).
- Enterprise level design documentation.
- Risk assessment.
- Strong problem-solving ability.
The Senior Software Engineer may need to travel for specific and well-defined business purposes.
About this PositionThis is a full-time salary position that may be in Sacramento, California (headquarters) or remote from the United States.
