Role

Are you ready to make an impact? We are looking for a Sr. Partner Strategy Manager that has a background in customer success strategy development and working with technology partnerships. In this role you will collaborate closely and cross-functionally with internal Customer Success and Experience stakeholders, Sales, the Global Partner Organization and with key Partner stakeholders to help develop and execute upon a shared vision and roadmap of Partner-centric solutions that are a force multiplier of customer success and adoption. You will translate requirements into actionable initiatives that produce innovative solutions tailored to helping Partners drive exceptional customer experiences and desired outcomes. As a Sr. Partner Strategy Manager on the Technical Partner Strategy team you are a master in strategy development, expectation and change management and optimizing Partner programs for global scalability. You will leverage your broad experience and knowledge of Splunk and Splunk Partners to provide thought leadership to other team members and key stakeholders to empower transformative change and ruthless prioritization of key objectives.

The candidate must possess strong leadership, organizational skills and an interest in elevating Partner-driven customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develops partner-centric solutions by collaborating with Partners and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Assists with ongoing strategy development, execution, and optimization of iterative, project-based strategies, including short and long-term milestones, to further grow our partner ecosystem
  • Serve as project lead & main point of contact for strategic partner initiatives within the Technical Partner Strategy team
  • Proven ability to own and manage multiple, high priority initiatives and meet aggressive deadlines
  • Collaborate closely with CSX and Partner GTM teams to define initiatives that align to Splunk corporate objectives, market interest and develop partner-centric solutions that can drive the CSX technical partner strategy forward successfully
  • Ability to connect Partner service offerings to business value and customer outcomes
  • Proven ability to influence our partner community to develop and build a thriving business around Splunk services
  • Represent Splunk within Partner forums to participate in dynamic discussions and facilitate productive and disruptive feedback
  • Collaborates with partners to innovate and scale service delivery, incentivizing and rewarding success within the partner network
  • Interpret the needs of the partner and of Splunk for a mutually beneficial relationship
  • Drives thought leadership on the Partner personas within the Customer Success and Experience organization and cross-functional organizations
  • Contribute to the creation of internal team processes and runbooks

Requirements

  • 12+ years in customer success, management consulting and/or professional services experience
  • 8+ years of current experience working with technology Partners across multiple industry verticals and theaters, including America, Europe and APAC
  • 5+ years of experience leading global, cross-functional teams in technology
  • Executive presence and comfortable and experienced in presenting to VP-level executives
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to mentor and develop staff
  • Experience with developing Partner Programs, Partner GTM strategies and/or Partner business management
  • Adept at translating technical requirements to business needs and vice versa
  • Experienced and comfortable closely collaborating with technical teams to ultimately drive customer-focused outcomes
  • Strong track record of aligning stakeholders by influencing without authority
  • Highly collaborative team player that thrives on a high-performing, innovative team
  • Experience successfully leading global end-to-end process and technology transformation projects
  • Well organized and ability to meet SLAs and aggressive deadlines
  • Familiarity with Agile work management and/or the ability to effectively communicate sophisticated processes within and across teams
  • Self-motivated, independent and self-educating, yet willing to stop, collaborate and listen with partner community and fellow Splunkers
  • Comfortable bending between the tactical and strategic
  • Works well under pressure
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% globally

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent on the job experience

Base Pay Range

SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area

Base Pay Range: $160, ,000.00 per year

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts

Base Pay Range: $144, ,000.00 per year

All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.

Base Pay Range: $129, ,200.00 per year

Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
