Summary
GForce Life Sciences is a leading company in the biotechnology sector, specializing in innovative solutions for oncology. The Director of Talent Acquisition & Total Rewards will report directly to the VP of HR and will be instrumental in shaping and executing the organization’s talent acquisition and total rewards strategies. This role emphasizes collaboration with the VP of HR to enhance recruitment, compensation, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, as well as total rewards frameworks. The successful candidate will also manage the operational facets of talent acquisition, ensuring effective recruitment processes and progress tracking.
Key Responsibilities
• Talent Acquisition (50%):
o Collaborate with the VP of HR to devise and implement robust talent acquisition strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives.
o Work alongside leadership to anticipate talent requirements, succession planning, and workforce development initiatives.
o Lead the design and execution of recruitment processes, including sourcing, selection, onboarding, and employer branding.
o Drive the recruitment process across various roles, ensuring timely and effective hiring.
o Monitor and report on recruitment metrics, including candidate pipelines and time-to-fill statistics.
o Educate and guide the workforce on DEI principles to maintain a diverse talent pool.
• Total Rewards (20%):
o Partner with the VP of HR to develop and implement compensation and total rewards strategies that support organizational goals.
o Oversee the design and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs.
o Conduct market analyses to ensure competitiveness and alignment with industry standards.
o Maintain the Job Leveling structure and ensure its effective application across the organization.
o Collaborate with finance and HR leaders to manage budgeting and forecasting related to total rewards.
• Senior HR Business Partner (30%):
o Act as a strategic HR business partner to the Commercial Operations, Sales, and Marketing teams, providing consultative support on organizational development and talent management.
o Work closely with the President & COO and other leaders to understand their objectives and provide proactive HR solutions.
o Facilitate performance management processes to enhance employee engagement and performance.
Qualifications
Mandatory:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
· A minimum of twelve (12) years of progressive HR experience, focusing on talent acquisition and total rewards.
· Proven leadership experience in overseeing talent acquisition and total rewards functions.
· Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment regulations.
· Demonstrated ability to develop strategic HR initiatives that drive business success.
· Excellent leadership skills with the capacity to inspire and develop a diverse team.
Preferred:
· Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
· HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR).
· Experience in the biotech industry with a strong talent network.
· Familiarity with oncology and/or immunotherapy.
· Experience in building commercial operations.
· Background in public companies.
· Experience in creating competitive benefits offerings to attract top talent.
