Position Overview:
At Cox Communications, we prioritize the integrity of our security protocols. As a leading provider of connectivity solutions, we are seeking a seasoned Cyber Risk & Compliance Senior Manager to lend their expertise in navigating information security assurance requests for our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with legal and sales teams to evaluate and negotiate cybersecurity clauses within customer proposals and unique contracts.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to various stakeholders, clarifying the relevance of cybersecurity clauses and compliance standards for our offerings.
  • Oversee customer-specific contractual obligations, ensuring alignment with organizational capabilities and compliance requirements.
  • Engage in the deployment of a contract management system that captures and addresses cybersecurity compliance needs.
  • Manage requests for security compliance documentation, including SOC reports and other relevant certifications.
  • Support sales initiatives by addressing customer inquiries related to cybersecurity measures for our products.
  • Foster collaboration among cross-functional teams to effectively mitigate cybersecurity risks.
  • Advocate for cybersecurity team requirements in the development of sales support strategies.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science) with a minimum of 6 years of experience in a related area. Alternatively, a master's degree with 4 years of experience, a Ph.D. with 1 year of experience, or 18 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Proven experience with industry-standard security frameworks and regulatory requirements (e.g., SOC 1, SOC 2, HITRUST, PCI DSS, HIPAA, GLBA, GDPR).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex cybersecurity concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and collaborative skills to effectively engage with teams across the organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree with 4 years of experience in a related discipline.
  • Experience in Finance, Healthcare, or Cloud security compliance.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, or similar credentials.
Compensation:
The compensation package includes a competitive base salary, which may vary based on location and the candidate's qualifications. Additional compensation may be available through incentive programs.
