Role Overview
As the Senior Vice President of Sales Strategy, you will spearhead the development and implementation of strategic initiatives aimed at driving sales growth, enhancing revenue streams, and penetrating new markets. Your leadership will be pivotal in cultivating a high-performing sales team, executing robust sales strategies, and exploring new partnerships and customer channels. You will conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to generate innovative service offerings, pricing strategies, and business models. Collaboration with the National Sales organization and other Crete United affiliates will be crucial in achieving the business development goals and expanding our national market presence. You will report directly to the President and collaborate closely with senior leadership in sales and marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve substantial growth and new business opportunities.
- Inspire and lead the sales team, fostering strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and revenue stability.
- Develop and oversee the organizational sales plan, providing accurate performance forecasts and driving growth.
- Build a high-achieving sales organization by leveraging talent, optimizing internal processes, and utilizing resources effectively.
- Establish and nurture strategic long-term relationships with key customers to drive organic growth and meet long-term objectives.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in business or equivalent professional experience.
- 8+ years of experience in sales management within the Industrial or Construction/Service sectors (MEP) is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of sales achievements as both an individual contributor and a sales leader.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and networking abilities.
- Capability to enhance sales team performance, prioritize effectively, and meet critical deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to excel in a dynamic environment and contribute positively to the organization.
- Effective communication skills with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Experience with Salesforce is preferred.
- Proven ability to build trust and secure buy-in from diverse stakeholders.
- History of driving transformational improvements in a fast-paced sales environment.
