About this role:

Wells Fargo's Corporate and Investment Bank is hiring for an Analyst position on the Corporate Rates & FX Sales Team. The role is focused on the marketing and execution of Rates products, specifically in support of the risk management needs of Wells Fargo's Corporate client base. The position is directly client-facing and core responsibilities include management of client onboarding process, idea generation, pitch book creation, the pricing and booking of trades, providing market updates, post-trade follow-up and interaction with settlements groups.

The candidate should have a technical understanding of basic Rates products such as but not limited to Swaps, Swaptions and Cross-Currency Swaps with a willingness to expand their knowledge to additional risk management products in the future. Rates Sales team members partner closely with their counterparts in Rates as well as with other CIB coverage partners including Corporate Banking, DCM, Leveraged Finance and Investment Banking to cohesively market the banks and are expected to collaborate seamlessly across the platform. Potential team members should be focused on building strong customer relationships balanced with helping to foster a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture.

In this role, you will:

Gain a deep understanding of interest rate products, markets, systems, and trade executionSupport the strategy, development, and implementation of the Commercial Trade Execution Desk (a.k.a. Deal Hub) platform and offeringDeliver outstanding trade execution and client experience that drives efficiencies and helps the Commercial team to achieve financial goalsPrioritize to successfully execute a wide range of internal processes, client requests, and transactions of varying complexityDrive constant process improvement and find efficiencies across the platformPartner effectively with Rates sales team, operations, and support areas to deliver superior customer serviceSupport the development of partnerships and help drive collaboration with other line of business partners, product areas (Commercial and Corporate Banking, etc.) as well as all support areas (Legal, Compliance, Credit, Operations, Market Risk, Ops Risk, etc.)Ensure compliance with all Dodd-Frank and other regulatory rules and help guide team to improve process to meet market practices as they developChampion diversity, equity & inclusionRequired Qualifications:6+ months of Securities Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Strong interest in financial markets, foreign currencies and derivativesDemonstrated proficiency in handling multiple projects and deadlinesEnergetic self-starter who is flexible, organized, conscientious, proactive, and detail-orientedStrong work ethic, initiative and desire to learnEnjoy working collaboratively in a team environmentExperience developing presentation and spreadsheet materialsMust be able to work in a fast-paced environment and to communicate effectively internally and externallyExcellent Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)A BS/BA degree or higher in business administration, economics, finance, or related fieldThis position is subject to Dodd-Frank Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background screen.
