Position Overview: Reporting directly to the VP of FP&A, the Financial Analyst will take charge of developing and managing detailed financial analyses, including variance assessments, trend evaluations, performance reporting against established targets, and various ad-hoc requests. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in data management and collection, possess a strong curiosity about performance drivers, and collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver timely and relevant reporting. This role will involve significant interaction with Senior Leadership, requiring the ability to distill complex narratives into concise executive summaries. Additionally, the Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in the formulation of monthly forecasts and annual budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and present precise financial reports, encompassing monthly, quarterly, and annual performance summaries.
- Gather, organize, and analyze extensive datasets to provide actionable insights that support strategic initiatives.
- Assist in the formulation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Develop and maintain intricate financial models in Excel to accommodate various business scenarios and initiatives.
- Conduct detailed cost analyses and identify opportunities for cost savings to enhance profitability.
- Perform market research and competitor analysis to guide business strategies and uncover growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with different departments and business partners on special projects.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Finance, Accounting, or Economics) with a minimum of 2 years of experience, or a High School Diploma/equivalent with at least 5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a financial analyst role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization techniques.
- Familiarity with financial software and ERP systems.
- Experience with SQL.
- Proficiency in data reporting tools such as Power BI.
- Experience in the industrial sector.
