Position Overview:

The Senior Accounting Analyst role is integral to the financial operations of the organization. This position focuses on overseeing balance sheet integrity, analyzing working capital variances, and ensuring compliance with corporate accounting standards. The Senior Analyst will play a crucial role in driving process enhancements and collaborating with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization
  • Conduct thorough analysis of balance sheet reserve accounts
  • Facilitate monthly reconciliation reviews and coordinate with accounting teams
  • Oversee monthly working capital assessments and budget forecasts
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies to uphold compliance standards
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure a seamless month-end closing process
  • Execute monthly accounting close tasks, including journal entries
  • Ensure timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist in the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation
  • Generate ad-hoc financial reports as needed
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • CPA or CPA Candidate
  • 3-4+ years of experience in accounting or finance, either in public accounting or industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform and process automation
  • Familiarity with SAP and Hyperion/Essbase
  • 2+ years of experience in Public Accounting
  • Master's degree in Accounting
  • Knowledge of SOX compliance and internal controls
  • Experience in a large-scale organization
