Account Executive, Membership Services

At Sharks Sports and Entertainment, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our Membership Services team. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our members, ensuring their satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain client relationships to drive membership renewal and sales growth.
- Create and track touch-point opportunities to ensure timely communication with members.
- Implement renewal cycle steps and meet deadlines to ensure seamless membership experience.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve established new business goals.
- Act as the primary liaison between the San Jose Sharks and members, resolving customer concerns and providing exceptional service.
- Oversee the execution of client amenities and services to optimize member experience and maximize sales profitability.
- Collaborate with the Ticket Sales department to provide exceptional customer service, retention efforts, and sales performance.
- Interact with other Sharks/Arena departments to provide a cooperative, client-oriented focus for all operations.
- Provide creative input and assertive follow-through to enhance member satisfaction and retention.
- Identify sales opportunities through networking and aggressive outreach to the member base.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in sports management, business, marketing, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum two years of relevant experience, including at least six months of direct experience in sales, preferably in the sports industry.
- Proven track record of sales excellence and development of client relationships in the sports industry.
- Positive attitude, coachability, and work ethic.
- Ability to work independently without supervision, be self-directed, and demonstrate initiative.
- Good judgment and decision-making skills.
- Flexibility to work weekend, nights, and holidays as required by schedule of events.
- Experience or working knowledge of Ticketmaster Archtics ticketing platform and CRM systems.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
