Job Summary:

As a Membership Consultant, you will play a critical role in driving patient enrollment and engagement. You will be responsible for building relationships with potential members, local assisted living facilities, and healthcare providers to generate referrals and increase membership. Your goal is to help seniors navigate their healthcare options and ensure they receive the best care possible.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively identify, cultivate, and secure new members through direct-to-consumer and business-to-business sales efforts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local assisted living facilities, healthcare providers, and community organizations to generate referrals
  • Conduct outreach and presentations to educate potential members about the benefits of our healthcare services
  • Assist potential members in understanding their Medicare and insurance options
  • Schedule and attend community events to promote our services and engage with prospective members
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and member interactions in CRM systems
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective sales strategies
  • Provide exceptional customer service to prospective and existing members
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and goals

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in healthcare, Medicare, or insurance
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on empathetic communication and support
  • Ability to proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to travel locally as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with or selling to the senior community or medically underserved preferred.
  • Experience with a health plan, FMO/benefits broker, or provider is preferred
