Job Description

As a Product Lead, you will run a team of 10-20 developers, DBAs, QA and analysts overseeing a product in the Enerex portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor an agile team, perform career coaching, conduct 1:1s and provide feedback, set up goals and objectives
  • Recognize trends affecting delivery goals and support team decisions on short- and long-term resolutions, removing roadblocks when necessary
  • Recognize trends across incidents and ensure true root causes are identified and fixes implemented
  • Understand and plan for the product roadmap and maintain awareness of broader technical and business changes impacting the team
  • Develop short-, mid-, and long-term key results with the team to achieve team objectives
  • Guide, mentor, and influence team members regarding architecture, best practices, and technical directions
  • Overview SDLC process and provide guidance to the team
  • Eliminate impediments and roadblocks of the team members
  • Act as scrum master by overseeing sprint activates
  • Support, advise, and guide team on the estimation and approach for product implementation and enhancements
  • Work with a Product Manager to understand the requirements and negotiate the right product delivery
  • Manage Amazon AWS environments
  • Gauge progress of various projects and communicate effectively with customers
  • Work with product stakeholders to plan for and perform prospective releases and projects
  • Collaborating with customers as a technical expert
  • Ensure practices followed by the team focus on consistent quality, maintainability, operational excellence, and scalability
  • Mentor and support team members on any of the above responsibilities

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience with C#, .net and MSSQL
  • Experience mentoring and developing engineering team; helping to grow individually and as a team by aligning focus and executing on commitments
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering best Agile practices for the full software development life cycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, deployment, rollback, testing, operations, and monitoring
  • Excellent prioritization and time management skills capable of leading multiple projects
  • Ability to effectively share technical information, communicate technical issues and solutions to all levels of the business

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in Saas company
  • Experience with Angular
  • AWS knowledge and certification
  • Energy (utilities, not oil & gas) industry background
