This role necessitates close collaboration with executive leadership, functional departments (such as merchandising, revenue management, and human resources), business units, and technology teams, depending on the specific analytics use case.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and align the organization on areas of competitive strength utilizing data and insights derived from data science, primary research, and market/customer intelligence.
  • Formulate strategies for designing analytical models for diverse use cases linked to the core enterprise analytics systems.
  • Collaborate with leadership to define business opportunities and establish suitable analytic strategies.
  • Conduct data mining, cleansing, and manipulation, pinpoint necessary data elements, acquire and consolidate extensive data sets, and address issues such as missing or corrupted data.
  • Work alongside Business, Data Science, and Technology teams to ensure analytical models are scalable and effectively implemented.
  • Establish and execute metrics to guarantee value realization from the deployed analytical models.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams consisting of analysts, business subject matter experts, and technical resources.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics, Business).
  • MBA or advanced degree from a prestigious educational institution (preferred).

Experience:

  • 5+ years in an analytical or strategic capacity within a corporate environment or leading professional services firm (e.g., Strategy, Finance, Insights).

Professional Skills:

  • Familiarity with digital technologies, including an understanding of data architectures, data requirements, and limitations.
  • Strong grasp of descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics methodologies, including the trade-offs associated with each.
  • Awareness of business value drivers and the connection between modeling decisions and business outcomes.
  • Structured problem-solving abilities with the capacity to define issues, analyze data, and provide insights and recommendations.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams to execute high-level initiatives.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and management teams.
