The Product Development Manager plays a pivotal role in formulating business and product strategies within designated product categories. A successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to lead cross-functional teams and possess exceptional communication skills, both professionally and effectively. This is a hybrid, salaried role requiring an office presence several times a week.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct the entire product development lifecycle. Create product specifications, timelines, and financial models detailing capital expenditures, return on investment, etc., for the Grilles, Registers, and Diffusers (GRD) product lines.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and contractors to innovate and implement the product development process.
- Ensure compliance with ERP requirements, including new item setup, packaging specifications, and E-commerce data.
- Partner with marketing to effectively commercialize and launch new products.
- Work with procurement and manufacturing to enhance the product offering.
- Manage existing product lines, focusing on development strategies to protect and differentiate current offerings.
- Develop and oversee product life cycles, including roadmaps, line reviews, and SKU harmonization.
- Collaborate with the Product Team to comprehend CSW Industrials' strategic positioning and competitive landscape.
- Identify strengths, weaknesses, and gaps in the product offering or positioning. Formulate focus areas for future development, marketing strategies, or optimized competitive positioning.
- Assess Intellectual Property to identify and implement IP strategies.
- Create new product literature, white papers, and training materials for sales teams.
- Work alongside marketing to enhance CSW Industrials' brand positioning, product positioning, and packaging.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Product Marketing or Product Management role, demonstrating a passion for customer experience and a proven ability to identify new opportunities or address challenges based on customer insights and data.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Willingness to travel at least 20% of the time (primarily domestic, with some international travel).
- Ability to analyze, assess, and resolve issues by leveraging technical and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Commitment to customer experience, with a proven track record of identifying new opportunities based on customer insights and data.
- Strong critical thinking and business curiosity; ability to derive insights and make decisions using diverse inputs and data sources.
- Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with CSW Industrials systems (JD Edwards and PowerBI) is advantageous.
