Duties

Provides leadership, guidance, and support to the IT request processing team. Leads the integration of software license management with financial planning processes. Supports financial planning, analysis, and reporting with a focus on IT expenditures. Drives the identification and implementation of improvements in both asset management and budgetary processes to enhance operational efficiency, financial accuracy, and cost-effectiveness across IT and financial domains. Employs data analysis to bolster strategic financial and asset management decisions by analyzing trends in software usage and financial performance to inform and guide budgetary and technology investment strategies. Ensures compliance with licensing agreements and financial policies. Supports the Budget Director in integrating IT budget considerations into wider financial strategies, ensuring software asset management is effectively incorporated into organizational financial planning.

Qualifications

Other Duties/ Responsibilities
Participates in projects as assigned to support the evolving needs of the department and organization.Stays informed of industry trends and advancements in software asset management, financial planning, and technology to continuously improve processes and practices.
Required Work Experience
High school Diploma or GED with 15+ years of relevant work experience.Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, accounting, or finance with 10+ years' experience.Master's degree in business administration, information technology, accounting or finance with 5+ years' experience.
Required Special Skills/ Knowledge
Analytical and strategic planning capabilities.Proficient in communication across various departments.Fundamental understanding of IT asset management and financial planning principles.Awareness of compliance requirements for software licensing and financial reporting.
