Position Overview
This role is essential for overseeing the management of IT assets within the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all hardware, software, and licenses are accurately tracked and compliant with applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities
1. Maintain a precise inventory of IT assets, including hardware and software components.
2. Ensure adherence to federal regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
3. Monitor software licenses to prevent unauthorized usage and ensure compliance.
4. Identify and evaluate risks associated with IT asset management and configuration.
5. Generate comprehensive reports providing insights on asset utilization and compliance status.
6. Design, implement, and maintain hardware and software configurations for uniform deployment.
7. Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve intricate desktop engineering challenges.
8. Develop and enforce standardized image libraries and deployment protocols for efficient desktop setups.
9. Ensure that the system of records is accurate for Mobile, Asset, Software, and Change Management.
10. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Conditions of Employment
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Candidates are required to obtain the necessary security clearance.
- A probationary period may be required if the security requirement has not been met.

Basic Requirements
Applicants must demonstrate IT-related experience showcasing the following competencies:
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrates thoroughness and conscientiousness in work.
- Customer Service: Engages with clients to assess needs and provide assistance.
- Oral Communication: Effectively conveys information to diverse audiences.
- Problem Solving: Identifies issues and evaluates alternatives using sound judgment.

Specialized Experience
Applicants must possess at least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the Federal Service, including:
- Advanced knowledge of configuration management principles to develop standardized image libraries and deployment policies.
- Proven technical expertise in configuration management, ensuring thorough documentation and regular updates.
- Experience in evaluating, designing, and implementing new technologies in IT services.
- Familiarity with security controls to mitigate desktop cyber risks in compliance with federal mandates.
