PeopleSoft Applications Developer III: HCM, HR, Payroll, Time and Labor

General Summary of Position
Responsible for the design and development of modifications to packaged software and/or custom solutions developed to support specific business needs. Works closely with business analysts and/or key users, assessing business needs and determining/implementing information technology solutions. Converts specifications and procedures of moderate to high complexity into application and program solutions. Writes and communicates highly complex program specifications.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field or, an equivalent combination of technical experience and education required
- Oracle PeopleSoft training preferred
Experience
- 3-4 years 4 years of experience in application analysis, design, software development, systems implementation and package integration required and
- Experience with the following: people tools 8.58 or higher, people code, apppackage, fluid development, application engine, component interface, SQR, integration broker, bi publisher, cobols and workflow. Experience with the following peoplesoft v9.2 modules: general ledger, accounts payable, travel & expenses, fixed assets, projects, grants, purchasing, inventory, HR, payroll, T&L, position management, benefits and self-service. Experience with oracle and/or SQL databases. Strong in procure to pay modules. required and
- Experience with java and/or javascript. experience in file conversion is strongly preferred
Licenses and Certifications
- No special certification, registration or licensure required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong analytical ability to solve complex technical problems.
- Competent in developing computer applications including desktop and server-based applications as well as basic project management principles.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication, to effectively interface with internal/external customers.
- Excellent customer service skills.
