Job Summary

The HR Coordinator is a key member of our Human Resources team, responsible for supporting the onboarding process, benefit and leave management, and administrative tasks. This role requires attention to detail, fast-paced progress, and people-centered coordination, administrative support, and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Onboard new team members, including running background checks, assigning and auditing onboarding documents, scheduling and hosting new hire training, and transitioning to management team.
  • Assist with benefit and leave management through administrative responsibilities, including benefit enrollment, leave eligibility and processing, working with our broker to escalate enrollment concerns, and communicating payroll changes.
  • Independently execute and implement activities at the direction of the HR Director and HR Specialists as needed, including supporting our HR databases and multiple HR processes.
  • Proactively manage logistics and needs in support of the HR team.
  • Deliver a high degree of team member confidentiality, use discretion and professionalism in all interactions, and follow policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with People Ops team members, mostly the HR Group, as well as all Fearless Solutions team members to support HR services.

Requirements

  • Experience with onboarding and HRIS systems required, Paylocity preferred.
  • Experience with benefits and protected leave, including FMLA.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Skilled in identifying inefficiencies, problem-solving, and providing solutions to team members.
  • Ability to manage and effectively prioritize workload in a timely fashion.
  • Ability to operate with a sense of urgency while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and with little direction.
  • Ability to adapt to change and bring a flexible mindset to the team.
