Position Overview:

This role is a three-month contract with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position, though this is not guaranteed.

The position requires full onsite presence.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience as detailed below.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in a generalist capacity or a comparable mix of education and experience that equips the candidate with the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Preferred 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in the higher education sector.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems such as Banner, ADP, or Res Nav.
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong judgment and critical thinking skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in MS Office, capable of gathering, interpreting, organizing, and presenting data (including Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Google Email).
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience, encompassing recruiting, mentoring, career development, performance management, leadership, and team building.
