Qualifications of the Right Candidate:
- 1-3 years of experience in a technical support capacity.
- Proficiency with the Windows platform; experience with both Mac and PC platforms preferred.
- Outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with Jira for efficient ticket management and support coordination.
Responsibilities of the Right Candidate:
- Provide technical support primarily for Windows 10 and Mac OS systems, with occasional support for older operating systems like Windows 7 and XP.
- Maintain and troubleshoot computers and peripherals.
- Utilize Jira to manage and resolve tickets, ensuring timely and effective resolution of user issues. Tickets may range from routine inquiries to complex technical challenges.
- Actively engage with internal stakeholders including visitors to understand and address their unique technical needs.
- Work closely with Tier 2 and Tier 3 support teams to escalate and resolve complex issues, contributing to a supportive and collaborative team environment.
- Assist visitors during conferences and other events who may require technical assistance but lack local credentials, operating under a best-effort model to provide support.
