SUMMARY: The IT Support Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting the organization in achieving its objectives by supporting the IT Manager with daily IT operations and functions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Providing daily IT support as required.
  • Managing inventory, setup, and maintenance of computers, software, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Overseeing antivirus and patch management, as well as monitoring computer and server operating systems.
  • Offering basic support for Active Directory Users & Computers.
  • Delivering end-user help desk assistance.
  • Ensuring compliance with Corporate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Administering mobile phones and tablets.
  • Maintaining a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional travel to local sites.
  • Executing additional tasks as assigned by the IT Manager.
CHARACTERISTICS AND SKILLS

The ideal candidate for this position is someone who exhibits a high level of service, dedication, and execution. Required characteristics, knowledge, skills, and abilities include:
  • Exceptional customer service skills, patience, strong organizational abilities, and effective communication.
  • Proficiency in computer software, hardware maintenance, and technical support.
  • Experience in diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading PC hardware along with basic network troubleshooting.
  • Self-motivated with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interpret diverse communication styles.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Associate's degree in a relevant field.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Support experience with Microsoft Windows 10 & 11 Operating Systems.
  • Experience with Windows Server 2016 & 2019 Operating Systems.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Suite.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory.

ADDITIONAL NOTED REQUIREMENTS
  • This position is on-site.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • Standard work hours are generally 40 hours per week but may vary based on business needs.
