Description:

Our client is currently seeking a Business Development & Marketing Associate to promote the value of construction to architects, engineers, owners, developers, and the public. The role involves developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy, building relationships with key stakeholders, and coordinating outreach efforts to highlight the benefits of masonry. This is a full-time, permanent position.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Market specialized construction to architects, engineers, owners, developers, and the public.
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry professionals and organizations.
  • Design and develop marketing materials, including brochures, websites, and trade show displays.
  • Educate public officials and agencies on masonry benefits and advocate for union contractors.
  • Manage promotional and recruitment efforts for CTE school outreach programs and showcases.
  • Maintain detailed expense records for all activities.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree is required.
  • 5-7 years’ experience in sales or a marketing role is preferred.
  • Understanding of construction industry knowledge.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and relevant software.

  • Proactive, customer-focused, and self-motivated.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Technical understanding of materials and construction processes.
  • Ability to work independently and travel extensively within the region.
