Transform Learning Environments with Demco
We are seeking a Business Development Representative to join our team at Demco, Inc. in the Upper New York region. As a key member of our sales team, you will drive sales growth and build relationships with K-12 school districts and public libraries.
About the Role:
- Identify new sales opportunities through research and industry tools
- Build relationships with key decision-makers in K-12 education markets
- Cultivate leads for evolving learning environments
- Transition leads to internal sales team for closing
- Collaborate with Inside Sales Specialist for territory prospecting and networking strategies
- Attend conferences, conventions, and trade shows to expand knowledge and grow network
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in a hunting sales role with a proven track record of success
- Strong relationships and experience working with K-12 education markets
- Familiarity with learning environments, furniture, and supplies
What We Offer:
A competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000, a variable commission plan that pays $25,000 at quota, and comprehensive benefits.
