In this role, you are responsible for the preparation of timely quotes for customers and accurate entry into the system. You are the primary point of contact for customers in obtaining Quote status, milestone tracking, and any other required updates until final shipment.


Qualified Candidates will have a technical education, preferably a Bachelor’s in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (other engineering fields or equivalent experience will also be considered). 1-2 years experience in application engineering or inside sales is desired. Pneumatics/hydraulics applications engineering/controls experience a plus


  • Key Responsibilities and Outcomes: Review customer requests for quotation (RFQ), including technical and commercial specifications. Identify cost-effective best suited engineered products for the application.
  • Read, analyze, and interpret customer/project-supplied schematics.
  • Size and select appropriate Rotork actuators, and communicate this information to customers using an established format.
  • Produce accurate and detailed proposals to meet customer-requested bid dates. Clarify any deviations, assumptions, or exceptions to customer project specifications and state recommendations.
  • Interface with cross-functional teams (Sales, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Contracts, and Management) to review projects and develop a plan of action before quotation and after receipt of order.
  • Ensure customers’ requirements are completely and adequately transferred to contracts.
