Position Overview:

The role of the Quoting and Partner Operations Specialist is vital in providing support to our Channel, Quotes, and Operations teams. This position requires a multifaceted individual capable of managing various responsibilities, including the generation of quotes, assisting partners, and contributing to diverse projects as needed. Your primary responsibility will be focused on quoting within the channel while ensuring operational effectiveness across multiple areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop product and service quotations and proposals for both new and existing clients, primarily serving the Channel team.
  • Engage with Fusion Connect vendors to ascertain pricing and availability, including a thorough understanding of manual quoting processes.
  • Document all activities in Salesforce utilizing Quotes cases.
  • Collaborate closely with Channel Managers to resolve unique or complex quoting scenarios.
  • Assist the Sales team during peak periods by managing quotes beyond your standard responsibilities.

Project Engagement and Operations:

  • Contribute to various projects to support the Channel, Quotes, and Sales Operations teams as required.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new partners and issue welcome communications to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Provide training to Sales teams on different quoting systems to enhance their capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in quoting, deal desk, or pricing roles, ideally within the telecommunications industry.
  • Experience in customer support or partner-facing roles is essential.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools is required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously and excel in a remote work environment.
  • Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
  • This role is remote, necessitating a reliable internet connection and an appropriate workspace.
  • Occasional travel may be required for training or team meetings.
