Location: Thermcraft, Winston-Salem, NC/ Remote/Hybrid


Essential Functions:

  • Prepare and give technical presentations to explain to customers how Thermcraft’s products will fit the customer application.
  • Prepare material estimates and product quotes for client.
  • Work with the customers and Engineers to ensure the equipment meets the system requirements.
  • Communicate with the sales team to understand consumer demands and offer sales support where necessary.
  • Secure orders, guarantee product standards, and assure product delivery.
  • Establish customer rapport and acceptance.
  • Plan for modifications to products to meet consumer demands.
  • Help clients to solve problems with product usage.
  • Recommend new and improved products to the customers and explain how the equipment will be more cost-effective.
Requirements:

Competencies and Attributes Needed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, marketing, communications, etc. or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical sales, preferably knowledge of manufacturing and engineering in a B2B environment
  • Strong technical background with the ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with strong project management and organization skills with the ability to take initiative to manage projects and meet goals.
  • Proficient with software including Microsoft Office and experience with CRM systems with the ability to learn Thermcraft’s internal systems.
  • Knowledge of design, engineering, and production principles, practices and methods.
  • Sense or urgency: in your work and ability to influence others towards actions and urgency
  • Critical thinking and problem solving
