Position: Responsible for many facets of the sales process to maintain and grow existing customers, create new customers, and meet or exceed sales quotas while continuously striving to improve profitability. Areas of responsibility will encompass work on a cross-functional level with sales, customer service, and accounting, with involvement in product sales, inventory, logistics, and credit. The individual will learn the technical components of products to provide value to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow existing customer relationships while actively pursuing new business.
- Collaborate across teams, including sales, customer service, and accounting, to ensure seamless operations.
- Provide product recommendations, prepare price quotations, and educate customers on material features and benefits.
- Play a pivotal role in resolving technical and processing issues by working closely with vendors and customers.
- Regularly travel (up to 30%) to meet customer needs and ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemical, Materials, Mechanical Engineering, or preferred.
- Technical knowledge of materials such as Polypropylene, ABS, Polycarbonate, Nylon, and other engineered resins is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and working effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
