Job Overview

TMD Friction Inc is seeking a highly skilled Sales Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing and leading sales and technical topics for various projects from OEM, Dealers, Chassis Builders and Brake Suppliers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage account profitability by implementing technical changes and price adjustments with a focus on growth.
  • Project management between different company sites, internationally, with Germany being a significant part of the role due to technical knowledge exchange.
  • Customer/Dealer relationship management as primary commercial customer contact.
  • Evaluation of customer enquiries and providing suitable recommendations based on current portfolio for both mid-term and short term opportunities for viability and profitability.
  • Internal and external presentations, such as at brake seminars, trade shows, and dealer trainings.
  • Communication of Dealer/Customer targets, specifications, and project-related requirements to the team.
  • Logistics support - customer orders.
  • Committed to sales targets and support sales planning.
  • Accounting and business understanding.
  • Monitor performance in terms of defined KPIs (OTIF, PPM).
  • Contract review and coordination with Legal, Quality, R&D and Operations in accordance with TMD PDIP processes.
  • Maintain sales-relevant data in SAP.
