Event Specialist - On-Site Sales Opportunity


Location: Washington, DC

Your Role:

As an Event Specialist, you’ll be at the forefront of our client’s sales efforts, driving business growth directly at event sites. You’ll play a key role in setting up events, engaging with customers, and executing marketing strategies to boost product sales. This on-site position requires daily commutes to various event locations in Washington, DC, providing hands-on experience in sales, marketing, and customer relations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Setup and Coordination: Prepare and organize event spaces to create an inviting atmosphere for customers.
  • Product Sales: Actively promote and sell products to event attendees, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Customer Engagement: Interact with event attendees to understand their needs, answer questions, and provide product demonstrations.
  • Marketing Support: Assist in executing on-site marketing campaigns and distributing promotional materials to enhance brand visibility.
  • Customer Retention: Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and brand loyalty.
  • Market Research: Gather feedback from event attendees to identify trends and potential areas for improvement.
  • Event Tear Down: Assist in dismantling event setups and ensuring all materials are accounted for and properly stored.
  • Sales Reporting: Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing insights and recommendations to the sales team.


Requirements & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong sales acumen and customer service skills.
  • Proactive, energetic attitude with a focus on achieving results.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to commute to various event sites in Washington, DC, on a daily basis.
