We are currently growing our Business Development Team in Sarasota. The position is a proving ground for all advancement and growth within the firm and entails on the job training and immersion within the industry. This position is a fast-paced business development role targeting middle market companies and involves interviewing C-level executives to identify if there is a mutual fit. It includes researching and identifying companies that are in need of services provided by the firm.
The ideal candidate possesses:
- Bachelor's degree or 4 yr. equivalent (finance encouraged but NOT required)
- Ability to Utilize Online Networking and Social Media Tools
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Effective time management
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Self-motivation, drive and passion
- Ability to think independently and quickly on their feet
- Comfort level engaging C-level executives
Responsibilities include:
- Outreach and Research to identify potential clients
- Utilizing Social Media Platforms and Databases to identify potential deal clients for the firm
- Cold outreach (leads are provided) potential clients and analyzing their transaction needs
- Coordinate warm lead hand-off from origination to close
- Comprehension of training and professional development topics in the arenas of sales and finance
- Continual professional development
- Tracking, managing, and exceeding sales quotas on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
The position offers:
- Competitive base salary plus 3-tiered commission structure
- Year one earnings should exceed 65K
- Daily and Weekly Bonuses
