Training Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with 5 or more years of training and/or procedure development experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience. Buyer accepts 8 years of directly related experience in lieu of a BA/BS degree.


Training Specialist

  • Under general supervision, analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate project training using the Client systematic approach to training.
  • Develop training materials such as Job-task lists, On-the-Job Training qualification cards, Qualification Standards, Classroom training materials and knowledge tests.
  • Ensure that work activities to develop and revise training materials and procedures comply with Client standards, processes, and procedures.
  • Work with functional managers, technical authorities, subject matter experts, and field workers to ensure procedures are written in a manner commensurate with the training, qualification, and experience of the workers.
  • Development and modification of project’s training option sets, staff’s training plans, etc.
  • Development of training status reports.
  • Develop procedures including drafting, editing, and revising and performing comment resolution.
  • Perform equipment walk downs to verify field conditions.
