Position Overview:
As a vital member of the engineering team, the Engineering Automation Specialist will collaborate with EGS, automation engineers, and project stakeholders to identify and extract essential technical data from diverse sources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support users by facilitating access to software and applications managed by Engineering Automation, including the creation of user accounts.
  • Conduct routine data quality assessments and assist engineers in tracking information and preparing necessary documentation.
  • Prepare training materials and presentations to enhance user understanding of automation tools.
  • Assist in the development of change management documents under the guidance of engineering supervisors.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed on schedule while adhering to high-quality standards, particularly within nuclear facility environments.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and uphold leadership, quality, and safety values within the team and across interfacing disciplines.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment that promotes openness, trust, communication, teamwork, empowerment, innovation, and job satisfaction.

Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree accompanied by up to one year of relevant experience.
  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and background check is required.
  • Proficiency in software applications such as MS Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong computer skills with an aptitude for organizing and presenting technical data using relational databases.
  • Ability to analyze technical documents to extract and classify relevant information for efficient retrieval by project teams.
  • Desire and capability to monitor extensive data sets and utilize effective extraction techniques for information requests.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with data analysts, engineers, technical experts, and management.
  • Meticulous attention to detail is essential.
